Left behind by suicide

Open Support Group

What is an open support group?

An open support group is a gathering where people come together to share their experiences, feelings, and challenges in a supportive environment. Unlike closed groups, open support groups welcome new members at any time, meaning you can join whenever you feel the need for support.

These groups often focus on a specific issue, such as mental health, addiction, or grief, but the overarching goal is to create a safe space for individuals to express themselves without judgment. Participants can gain emotional support, practical advice, and a sense of community from others who are facing similar challenges.

About the group

Left Behind by Suicide is open to anybody above the age of 18 that has experienced the loss of someone close to them to suicide. This group is meant for participants to find support among others who are enduring the same journey. There are no requirements for attending regularly, and can be attended as often as you want to compliment your other self care routines.

Guidelines

With Left Behind By Suicide being an open support group, we have guidelines in place to ensure we keep a safe space for all to find comfort. Feel free to read them here and contact us if you have any questions.
